Registered Nurse

Brooke Taylor, RN

For Brooke, nursing has always been about more than just the technical aspects—it’s about connection and compassion. After earning her nursing degree in 2021, Brooke worked with children in both home and school settings, but it was her desire to work one-on-one with individuals that brought her to Spokane Falls Recovery Center. As a nurse in the Detox/Residential Facility, she performs admits and discharges while ensuring the physical and emotional well-being of those in her care. What she loves most about her role is getting to know each client’s story and helping them feel valued and loved throughout their recovery journey.

Brooke’s philosophy is simple: “If you have a pulse, you have a purpose.” She strives to make every person she works with feel that they matter, regardless of their past. Watching clients come in struggling and leave as a completely different person is a powerful reminder of why she does this work. Outside of her nursing career, Brooke enjoys traveling, trying new foods, reading, and spending quality time with her husband and family.
