Christopher Debrunner
Residential Technician
After navigating his own recovery journey, Christopher joined Spokane Falls Recovery Center (SFRC) as a Residential Technician, starting in the detox building where he now helps others through the early stages of sobriety. Having participated in outpatient treatment at SFRC from 2020 to 2021, Christopher was inspired to give back to the community that helped him find his footing in recovery. He applies the knowledge he gained through his personal experience, ensuring that individuals receive the support they need to feel safe and understood. Christopher also loves to contribute to the team by preparing meals, something he learned during his years in the kitchen, and believes that providing nourishment goes beyond food—it’s about supporting healing in every aspect.
Christopher’s passion for recovery and helping others comes from a deeply personal place. He has found his sense of purpose in making sure others feel less alone in their journey. Through his sobriety, he has rebuilt relationships with his family and rediscovered passions like music and art. His goal is to show others that no matter how lost they feel, recovery offers them the chance to build a new life full of possibility. In his own recovery, Christopher found a renewed sense of self-worth and now strives to pass that gift on, offering hope and serenity to those in need.
