Tyler Ham, Med, MA, LMHC

Tyler Ham has worked in the helping profession for over 15 years, first as a public High School Teacher, and now as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor.  After a Master’s degree from NOVA Southeastern University in Curriculum and Instruction, and thirteen years in public education, Tyler returned to Graduate School and completed a second Master’s Degree from Gonzaga University in Marriage and Family Therapy.  During that time Tyler finished an eighteen-month internship with Spokane Falls Community College working closely with the Addictions Studies Program providing mental health counseling, academic advising, career counseling, and support through community referrals.  Tyler was then hired at Spokane Falls Community College as a tenure track faculty where he currently works as a Mental Health Counselor and Academic Advisor.  He holds his associate license in mental health counseling and is a National Certified Counselor.

Tyler has a real desire to work closely with those in recovery, and their families.  From his first year of teaching at a Recovery High School to his current professional endeavors, Tyler truly has a passion for helping the population take the steps towards building a new family legacy.
