Zander Nielsen, LPN

Zander’s lifelong dream was always to be a nurse. Originally from Riverside, California, she graduated nursing school in 2017 from Northwest College as an LPN. Zander is a natural caretaker. Before coming to Spokane Falls Recovery Center, her background was in working with patients with dementia in nursing homes. The transition to caring for those with substance use disorders has been a decision she’s grown to love, as she has tremendous empathy for anyone struggling with addiction. Zander grew up around people with substance use disorders, and she believes strongly in the promise of recovery. She is passionate about being of service, and she considers it an honor to be a part of another person’s recovery journey. In her free time, Zander is usually busy with arts & crafts or enjoying the outdoors. She is happy near any body of water, and she enjoys traveling to her hometown of Riverside to visit loved ones.
